On our annual summer sojourn to Canada in 2020, Sasha and I discovered thirty ancient stones, each with natural holes born of wind, water, sand and time.

These naturally formed stones have long been considered talismans of luck and protection. Some believe their holes are windows through which you can connect with other worlds.

Once we learned their symbolism, I decided to cast them in polished metal, preserving their natural forms and letting their beauty - and a little of their magic - shine.

Wear one close to your heart, keep one as a totem in your home, or pass one down as a modern heirloom.

It started with a mother, a daughter and a habit of looking closely.

Found + Foraged is a collaborative design effort between mother and daughter.

From Sasha's earliest days, she was transfixed by the magic of Mother Nature. Her curiosity inspired me, her mom, to begin transforming the stones, plants and other treasures we discovered together into objects for home and personal adornment.
