Care Instructions

All of our pieces are made with recycled metals - brass, sterling silver or the gold karat of your choice and are lead free. Brass will tarnish and oxidize over time with wear and the oils and lotions from our skin as well as any exposure to direct and extreme sunlight and water. We recommend to avoid wearing our brass jewelry on the beach and in water, especially salt water or a pool.

We provide a polishing cloth with all orders which will help maintain the high polish and shine of our brass and silver jewelry pieces.

Sterling silver can be worn in water with no effects to the shine. Oxidation of sterling silver is common but can be removed quickly with a polishing cloth.

For home goods such as spoons, do not use in highly acidic liquids such as vinegar and citric acids. For regular cleaning immediately after use, please use warm water and mild dish soap and dry with a clean dish cloth. To remove tarnish over time and to restore shine, use Goddard’s food safe brass cleaner.
