Sasha Spoon

$125.00

Big spoon, little spoon.

The spoon is an inevitable symbol of togetherness, as well as an essential symbol of nourishment.

These Found + Foraged hand-sculpted tools were born during our physical isolation, when homeschooling afternoons demanded something more tactile, more productive, and deeply satisfying. Sasha and I would engage in sensory play, and I began to teach her how to sculpt in jewelry wax.

The spoons in this collection are a triumph over our distance, symbols of unity and care. These vessels are functional sculptures, an ideal combination of design and utility, with beauty to feed the creative soul.

The Sasha spoon makes a wonderful ceremonial totem, sculpture, display partner for your most cherished jewels, or the kind of dreamy salt or sugar cellar that will add a thoughtful touch to your morning coffee or tea routine. Cast in a lustrous yellow brass with a subtle polish, the spoon highlights the organic nature of the wax, and the delicate play of a child’s fingerprints in shaping it.

100% of the sales from all SASHA SPOONS will be put into a college fund for Sasha.

The Sasha spoon is cast in recycled yellow brass. Please contact us for quotes for spoons in sterling silver.

All F+F pieces are MADE TO ORDER and production takes 2-4 business weeks from the date of purchase.

All our metals are lead free and food safe. We work with a casting house that is fully transparent about where they source their metal and we are happy to share the metal alloy breakdown to anyone who would like more information. For more detailed information on how to care for and clean your spoon, please refer to our Care Instructions.
